Need a Unique Barcode?

If, however, you are new to barcodes and wish to obtain a unique barcode number for a new product, then as well as obtaining a new barcode labels quote from us, you need to contact the GS1 UK who are the uk authority for issuing barcode number prefixes unique to your company (and therefore products).

To get a unique barcode for your product you need to apply to an organisation called GS1 ( http://www.gs1.org/ ). There is a fee for this, but you will have a barcode range (typically 1000 issued at a time) that is globally unique and you can use on any product you choose. We can then take that barcode number, product a graphical barcode for you, and print it onto your chosen label design.
